MMISOA Research Study Results

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Stress, Confidence, Motivation and Game Management study. The results have finally been tabulated with some very interesting results. Some of the details of the study are listed below, supplemented by a video review of the results on this page, with former Chapter President Shane Butler and The Official’s Mind’s Karen Swanner.

CONFIDENCE

When looking at confidence, our chapter turned out to be an extremely confident group, but then being a good official takes a certain level of confidence. For every question, referees ranked above 70% in their confidence level, with officials feeling more confident in some situations than in others.
